Sign in, then confirm it's you with Face ID, Touch ID, or Windows Hello — or a 6-digit code from your authenticator app as a backup.

If you set up a passkey, Trinity can ask your device to confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, or a security key. If you enable an authenticator app, you'll enter a 6-digit code instead. You can add either option later from your profile when available for your account.

Use the email Trinity invited. If your account hasn't been authorized yet, contact your Trinity advisor.

Confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or Windows Hello

If you've added a passkey to this device, Trinity will prompt you automatically. One tap or glance and you're in.

No passkey yet? Use your authenticator app

Open Microsoft or Google Authenticator and enter the 6-digit code shown for your Trinity entry. First time? You'll be guided through pairing the app.

Add a passkey from your profile (recommended)

Once you're in, open Your profile → Passkeys and add one. Next time, sign-in is a single Face ID / Touch ID prompt.

Continue to your authorized Trinity portal

Clients land on their own profile. Trinity team members land on the portfolio dashboard.

What's a passkey?

A passkey is a private key stored on your device (iPhone, Mac, PC, security key) that confirms it's you with Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, or a hardware button. Nothing to type, nothing to remember, and nothing to phish.

Do I have to use a passkey?

No. Passkeys are the recommended option — they're faster and more secure — but the authenticator-app code always works as a backup. On the verify screen, choose 'Use authenticator app instead'.

What if I'm on a new or borrowed device?

A passkey only lives on devices you've added it to. On any other device, sign in with your password + authenticator-app code; then add a passkey for that device from Your profile → Passkeys if you'd like.

Where do I get the authenticator code?

From Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator on your phone, under the Trinity Portal entry. The code is generated on your device — it is not emailed to you.

What if I lose access to my passkey and authenticator?

Contact Trinity support. We'll verify your identity and help you re-pair a new device.

Can I see other client accounts?

No. Access is limited to authorized client accounts only. Each client sees only their own profile and documents.

Is "Continue with Google" the same as a passkey?

No. "Continue with Google" signs you in with your Google account password. After that, you still confirm with a passkey or an authenticator-app code, just like the email/password flow.
